Mexican Student Visa?
Is it possible to get a mexican visa as a student? I ask because I am interested in studying spanish via an immersive learning experience.
Yes, you would have to be accepted into a degree program. The issue I see is that many Spanish programs are geared toward tourists and expats and are not degree programs. To pursue a degree in Spanish, you’d already need to speak Spanish pretty well to understand the lectures. You would also need to prove your income for the duration of your program. This can be from a job, pension, or scholarship, and you have to demonstrate you have that income for at least 3 months. I would say you probably have the best chance of finding a degree program geared to foreigners in Mexico City.
