About this Space

Cozy, modern, and well-equipped loft-apartment, located North of Merida's Centro. Convenient and quick access to shopping, restaurants, banks, museums, and Progreso (beach).

There's also a park with a walking trail behind the property, and a dog park that's adjacent to the park. Great for work, vacation or weekend.

Altabrisa Shopping Plaza is only 5 minutes away by car. Galerias Shopping Center (with ice-skating rink) is 8 minutes by car, and La Isla Plaza is 15 minutes away by car. You can be in Centro in under 10-minutes by car.

The space

• Living room: has a sofa, a coffee table and a 32-inch SmartTV
• Dining room table with 2 chairs, kitchenette bar w/ 2 chairs.
• Kitchen equipped w/ electric stove top, fridge and microwave.
• Open room with matrimony mattress, a nightstand, closet complete with space to hang clothes and hangers. There's a bed on the lower floor and the upper level can be used as an office (or you can add another bed upstairs)
• Bathroom with sink/shower and hot and cold water
• Two air conditioners (in living room and upstairs bedroom).
• Internet = Fiber optic internet services available at your expense (costs around $20 USD per month). The service is already on, you'll simply make the payments each month. There is one TV on the wall and it's a smart TV. You can connect to your own streaming services.

*Water and trash is included in the rent. You are responsible for Internet and electricity (there are 6-solar panels on the building, and the electric bill averages about $35-$60 USD every 2 months -- this depends on your usage).

★ NO PETS ALLOWED ★ We love pets, but unfortunately, our unit is not suitable to accommodate them any longer (may consider with 12-month lease)

★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★ Please refrain from smoking inside! Any evidence of smoking will result in charges for odor removal and furniture cleaning equal to one month's rent.

★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★ We kindly ask you to treat this place as your own in order to preserve its condition for future guests.

Costs to Rent:

The only options for rentals are for 6 or 12 month lease pre-paid. Only 1-deposit is required, not 2 deposits like most places. No co-signer (aval) required. There is a contract fee of $6,500 MXN pesos (approximately $375 USD based on exchange rate as of this writing). 

*6-month term: $12,500/mo x 6 = $75,000 pesos ($4,350 USD approx)

*12-month: $11,500/mo x 12 = $138,000 pesos ($7,975 USD approx)

*There's a brand new generator in the property. I haven't used it. The previous owner is leaving it behind for me. You'll be able to use it in the event of power outages.
