As @Heather mentioned, you can use your existing Uber app. It may update once you open it up here and if you prefer to pay cash, that option will appear (at least it does in mine). But you definitely can use the payment option you already have. Definitely check with your bank to see what, if any, fees you’ll be charged. My wife is with Wells Fargo and each and every charge she makes with her debit card, she gets hit with an international transaction fee. I’ve tried reasoning with her to get a new bank but for whatever reason she chooses not too… If you can connect with a bank that don’t charge international transaction fees, I’d advise you to do so. Those fees add up really quick and can be costly. Another app to consider using is DiDi (many rides tend to be much cheaper than Uber), but you will most likely have to use cash with DiDi. For whatever reason, I’m now able to use my debit/credit card with DiDi, whereas in the past it always rejected the card. I find the pick-ups are much quicker and cheaper with DiDi (they seem to be in more abundance throughout the city).
