Whew … tough call. If you’re trying to based that decision on part of your plan to move to Mexico or any other country, i wouldn’t make any decisions until you’ve stayed in whatever country you’ve decided to for at least a year. I see so many people roll through after selling their stuff and then they’re going back to the States a few months later. Take your time and make decisions based on your short-term/longterm goals. Some people like being a landlord. Others hate it. Right now, at this time in my life I appreciate not being tied down to anything. Weigh all the cons/pros … If there’s money to be made from the property, think it through. Only you can answer this one based on your goals.
